Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Housekeeper position at Cancercare SA focuses on keeping a safe, clean and organised environment for all. Daily duties include managing stock levels, grocery supplies, and linen throughout the Unit.
This role covers monitoring laundry operations, cleaning duties, assisting in catering preparation, and supporting basic administrative activities as needed on a full-time basis.
Professionalism and showing compassion form a key part of this job, since you’ll interact with doctors, patients, and staff, ensuring the Unit feels welcoming.
Stock control accuracy, attention to detail, and time management are essential in the daily workflow. Ensuring hygiene standards are kept is a top priority.
